‘Yeva’ unveils brand new poster

Iran-Armenia joint production ‘Yeva’ directed by Anahid Abad has unveiled a brand new poster with less than a week to go before screening.

Designed by Behzad Khorshidi, the film’s poster has been released in time for the film’s screening by the Art & Experience group in Iranian theaters this Saturday, March 16.

Abad’s first feature length movie which represented Armenia at the 2019 Academy Awards has been screened in various international film festivals including Palm Springs Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Mill Valley Film Festival, Montreal Film Festival and the Asia Pacific Film Festival.

‘Yeva’ is the story of a young woman who is forced to flee Yerevan with her daughter Nareh. She would have to stand trial there because she allegedly killed her husband.

Uncle Ruben and the remote village in Nagorno-Karabakh are her last chances to go into hiding. But the villagers recognize her from the days of war when she had cared for the wounded as a doctor at the front.
